TERMS OF SERVICE
Tieric Pilates – Terms & Conditions
Effective from 17th March 2026
Welcome to Tieric Pilates. These Terms & Conditions help ensure our studio remains a safe, fair, and enjoyable space for everyone. By enrolling in classes or using our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
Arrival Times
New Clients: Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class for a brief orientation.
Returning Clients: Arrive 5 minutes prior to class.
Studio Entry: Press the arrow on the keypad until you “Ground Floor 271A” and press the bell icon button on the keypad. The door will promptly be unlocked for you and walk through both doors to gain entry to our studio.
Late Arrival Policy
A 5-minute cut-off applies once class begins. If the warmup is finished, entry is strictly not permitted.
This ensures that there is:
Minimal disruption to others
Instructor focus and class safety
Prevention of injury due to missed warm-up
No refunds or class credits will be issued for late arrivals.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY (12 Hours)
All cancellations must be made via the our website and/or Acuity Scheduling at least 12 hours before your scheduled class.
Class Pack Holders:
Late cancellations result in loss of the class credit.
Membership Holders:
Standard Late Cancellation (within 12 hours):
For 3 class per week membership holders a 2 grace cancellations/month with no fee. After that, a $10 fee applies per late cancel.
For 4 class per week membership holders a 2 grace cancellations/month with no fee. After that, a $10 fee applies per late cancel.
Extra Late Cancellation (within 3 hours): Incurs a $10 fee.
Private Sessions:
Require 24-hour notice. Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee.
Tieric Pilates reserves the right to cancel classes. If this occurs, the class will be credited back to your account.
3. NO SHOW POLICY
Failing to cancel and not attending a class will result in:
Loss of class credit
A $10 no-show fee
This applies to all membership types and class packs.
4. STUDIO ETIQUETTE
Phones: Please place on silent and stored away during class.
Filming and/or Photography is not permitted without staff and client consent.
Minimum Age: 18+ for group classes.
Cleaning: Wipe down all equipment after class with provided products.
Children: Not permitted inside the studio at any time.
5. PARKING POLICY
There is no on-site parking is available, however street parking is plentiful on Mt Alexander Road and and surrounding streets.
Tieric Pilates is not liable for parking fines, towing, or damages.
6.HEALTH, INJURIES & PARTICIPATION SUITABILITY
Inform your instructor of any injuries, health conditions, or pregnancy before class.
Our team provides general guidance but is not a medical provider. Please seek medical advice before joining if you have health concerns.
If your needs exceed the scope of group classes, we may:
Request medical clearance
Recommend private sessions
Suggest clinical Pilates
Participation is voluntary. Clients accept full responsibility for their own safety. Tieric Pilates is a fitness studio and does not offer Clinical Pilates.
On request we can refer you to a Physiotherapist that we personally use and highly recommend.
7. PREGNANCY POLICY – Pre-Natal Participation
Notify us as soon as you are pregnant. We recommend Clinical Pilates for the duration of pregnancy due to the specialty experience of instructors and wider range of apparatus available.
We are happy to welcome you back post-birth with written clearance from your doctor, OB-GYN, or women’s health physio before returning to classes after giving birth.
8. PURCHASES: PACKS AND MEMBERSHIPS
All purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
No extensions beyond expiry dates.
Intro Offers are valid once per person and exclude private sessions.
Memberships are auto-renewed weekly.
Payment must be made online before booking.
9. MEMBERSHIP TERMS & AUTO-PAY AGREEMENT
We do not have any lock-in contracts however a minimum 4-week term applies to all memberships.
Memberships begin with your first class booking and renews weekly.
10 days written notice is required to cancel. Cancellations can be made by sending an email to hello@tiericpilates.com.au.
Weekly payments are prepaid.
Failed payments result in suspension; a $5 dishonour fee applies.
After 3 failures, membership may be cancelled. To return to membership after a cancellation, a full 4-week term applies.
Booking Conditions
Only book the number of classes included in your membership.
If you would like to attend extra classes above your membership limit:
Extra class pass: $19
Second class on same day: $29
All bookings/cancellations must be made via our website and/or Acuity Scheduling. Requests via phone or email are not accepted.
Membership Freezes
Memberships can be paused with 10 days’ notice by sending an email to hello@tiericpilates.com.au.
Classes cannot be booked while a membership is frozen.
Memberships cannot be paused during the 10-day cancellation notice period.
All payments must be current to request a freeze.
10. CLASS BOOKINGS
All bookings must be made in advance via our website.
The class participant is responsible for managing their bookings and cancellations.
The class booking calendar opens 30 days in advance.
Cancel 12 hours before to avoid fees or lost passes.
11. WAITLIST POLICY
Joining a waitlist is considered a commitment to attend. Please text 0422 394 408 if you’d like to be added to the waitlist.
If a spot opens, you’ll be automatically added to the class—this may happen up to 2 hours before start time, including overnight.
If you no longer wish to attend, remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid fees.
12. PERSONAL AGREEMENT AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By participating in classes or using Tieric Pilates services, you agree to the following:
Tieric Pilates is not responsible for lost/stolen personal items.
You understand that exercise carries inherent risks, including injury.
You participate voluntarily and agree to take care when following instructions.
Tieric Pilates is a fitness studio, not a Clinical Pilates or rehabilitation provider.
You and your legal representatives will not hold Tieric Pilates liable for any occurrences resulting from participation.
13. CODE OF CONDUCT
We are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and professional environment where every individual thrives through quality movement. We have zero to tolerance for abuse, harassment, or disrespect toward staff or other members. Breach of this policy may result in membership suspension or termination.
